COIMA Holding is born, a holding company set up by the founding partners of COIMA REM and COIMA SGR with the aim of simplifying and consolidating the ownership structure, giving life to the COIMA Group. COIMA Holding owns directly 100% of COIMA REM, COIMA SGR, and COIMA HT and indirectly of Residenze Porta Nuova and COIMA Image. COIMA SGR adopts the comply approach to the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation.

COIMA SGR receives the 2020 Greenbuild Europe Leadership Award from the U.S. Green Building Council for its ongoing commitment to sustainable real estate development. The prize is awarded to organisations that stand out as leaders in the construction of buildings and in the creation of new communities, reducing impact on the environment, prioritising the health of inhabitants and improving living standards.

Some strategic acquisitions are concluded in the areas of Porta Nuova and Porta Romana, where the Porta Romana real estate investment fund is awarded the 190,000 m2 surface area of the former railway yard to promote its recovery inspired by principles of sustainability, with a project for quality, size and purpose comparable to the best urban interventions at European level.

The acquisition of the Porta Nuova Gioia areas launches a second Porta Nuova development phase, laying the basis, along with the Valtellina site, a portion of the Scalo Farini Railway Yard,
for the creation of new real estate products and next generation urban development.
